Chikai-no-Oka Hill
A Mt. Fuji outlook spot stationed along the Kintaro Fujimi Line, bound for Ashigara pass. It’s said that ringing the promise bell installed here will bring luck. In April and August you can catch a view of “Diamond Fuji,” when the evening sun sinks behind the mountain.
Jissoji Temple
Said to have been built in the first year of the Kyuan Era(1145) in answer to supplications made by the monk and former emperor Tobo, this is famous as the temple where the sage Nichiren worked on his treatise, the ‘Rissho Ankoku Ron.’

Koyasumi Honjin Tokiwatei House
Once used as one of the ‘Ai-no-Shuku’ (way-stations), or Daimyo rest quarters, of Tokaido, the currently standing building was erected after the Great Ansei Earthquake.

Susono City Central Park/ Goryu Falls
Crown Prince visited the time of the taisyou. Within the traditional Japanese garden lies the “Old Uematsu Residence,” one of Japan’s important cultural properties. There is also a suspension bridge with a view of Goryu Falls (‘Five Dragon Falls’).
