Clematis-no-Oka (Clematis garden)

Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen-jinja Shrine
In the period of Emperor Suinin the enshrinement of the guardian volcano goddess, ‘Konohana Sakuya Hime,’ was begun by imperial edict. Important cultural properties on site include the main shrine, characteristic of the Momoyama period, the Nishimiya Shrine, and the Crown Prince Shrine, which was constructed by Takeda Shingen.

Lake Yamanakako
The largest of the Fuji Five Lakes, with a direct view of Mt. Fuji. Elegant swans glide across the surface of the lake, where watersports such as wakeboarding,waterskiing and shing can all be enjoyed. You can even try Wakasagi (lake smelt) fishing from a domed boat.
